Magic In Progress - Issue 14: Technology

The newest issue of Magic In Progress is now live! My newest story is the first one in this new periodical. It will come to no surprise that this too comes from a D&D game. Some of my buds are working on putting a Spelljammer game together. So I sent our DM an idea of a Giff. I have wanted to play a Giff for many years now, but I don’t love the way the all use guns. I want a savage hippo person. Once I found out the theme for issue 14 was technology, I came up with this idea for a prehistoric Hippo barbarian that was picked out of space and time. I have no doubt I will use this idea for the actual D&D game when we get around to it. Until then, please enjoy Urgash’s origin.
