Have Barbarian, Will Travel - Gen Con

Well met, adventurers!

Its been a week or so since our yearly pilgrimage to Gen Con. This year I played in a ton of games and attended a lot of the official D&D programing. I went to the tower at least once a day of the con. Your boys pass had ribbons down to the floor! Like normal, I mostly played in Tales of the Valiant games. This is the first year, to my knowledge, they did multiple day adventures. 3 days, 4 hours each, same party, same DM. It was a blast. It was probably my favorite game I played all weekend. Coming back each day to see these great folks and run through the game was such a joy. I understand that the con setting its hard to really feel like you know your party members and everything needs to wrap up in a few hours, but this is the way Id like to play during a weekend con. Swapping discords and numbers after the game was great. I hope to see the folks again at another con!

I was lucky enough to attend the Death Saves and the Dungeon Masters Live Plays. Snagging books and minis early before release and seeing sneak peeks into what Death Saves will be was a treat.

Helping Josh run his arena game was also a blast. Seeing everyone light up when the big mini hit the table was great. Everyone seemed to have a blast.

Until next time!
